A few years ago a young mother from the Midwest made front page news when the doctors discovered she was expecting not one, but seven little babies (known as septuplets). As the nay sayers caught window the story they began to voice all the reasons, as to why this new mother would not be able to deliver all of these little miracles; She boldly stepped forward into the Mics and cameras and declared, "I not loosing. these babies. I am planning to carry and having each and every one of them, and in healthy condition.
As might imagine, news media outlets began to have a hay day with her story. Predicting every reason why the delivery of all seven babies would be rare, if at all possible. Some news outlets invited leading experts to come on their shows too refute any hope of all of them arriving safely. Graphic images began too appear in magazines and news papers, depicting doctors standing in front of hospitals and medical rooms ran rampant. Many of them explaining why these kind of multiple births were considered to not only be rare, but dangerous. As a result, much of America listened in as news agencies ran news stories and video clips of people everywhere voicing their concerns over the arrival of all the babies, questioning whether or not all seven would make it, or even survive after doing so. My heart was saddened as some even suggested aborting some of the mothers babies to save the others!
Jordana and I sat and cheered as we watched this brave expecting mother with huge faith and a courageous spirit refuse to even consider what the outside world was saying! I was so proud of both her and her husband as they stood valiantly, declaring all their babied would all be born healthy and ready to live, stating their faith and trust in God. I have to admit! It was both fascinating and inspiring to watch their faith, strength and courage to stay focused in the midst of so much opinion and adversity.

Months later, as every news agency in America covered the story, God started turning what had become a media circus into a powerful testimony to world! It was as if God was saying, “watch what I can do!” To many of us, It was as if God was sending the world a message; "There will be no abortions and no miscarriages." As the story unfolded I couldn’t help but remember the scripture that declares, '"Shall I bring to the point of birth, and not give delivery?' says the Lord. 'Or shall I who gives delivery shut the womb?' says your God" (Isaiah 66:9 NAS).
America sat in amazement! Even during the last few weeks prior to the time of delivery, this little mother - practically bedridden - against all so called odds - continued to believe her God for the delivery of her seven little miracles. Until finally it happened! The day came when finally she and the doctors knew it was show time! IT was time for her delivery process to begin.
With the eyes of the world on this one brave mother, the world awakened to discover something very different than what had been predicted by the nay sayers cynics and fear mongers! The world watched as seven little miracles were presented back to their mother and farther and all who were watching on as all seven of these miracles were born! Non was lost - all were alive, kicking and well in the land of the living!
As I thought back in the courage of this brave mother and father it revealed three powerful lessons to those who are expecting miracles in their lives:
- When God places dreams and visions in your spirit, dont listen to the nay sayers! Never underestimate the power of your God given expectancy! If you have the faith courage to carry those dreams and visions they will come too pass! You will birth all off them! Your dreams and visions shall live!
- Never allow anything or to the point, anyone to persuade you to abort or miscarry that which God has placed into your spirit! Guard your expectancy! There is great reward in your faith and patience too hold onto those dreams and visions!
- There are going to be times when no one around you is going to understand the power and importance of what you are carting in your spirit! Keep expecting! Keep believing! When no one else believes, you believe! As you stay in faith, you will carry all your promises to your full time of delivery.
Are you expecting a miracle? Perhaps you have recently discovered that you are carrying multiple promises. Don't allow the enemy to persuade you to abort or miscarry. Stand firm and declare, "There will be no more abortions or miscarriages in my life. I know why I am here. I know what I am carrying, and I will not allow anything or anyone to stop me from delivering my purpose in the earth." Then boldly declare, "My deliverance will come, and the miracle I've been expecting will come forth, in Jesus' name."
I have thanked God many times for the God-given faith and courage needed to carry each of our visions full term. Everything that Jordana and I have received in our personal lives as well as in our ministry is the result of intimate prayer and obedience to the spiritual process of full-term faith.
Our family, our ministry and our vision are alive and well as a result of our obedience to this spiritual process. The birth of some promises seemed to take longer than others. To be honest, there were times when it seemed as if we were being stretched beyond our limits. It even felt as if the promise would take an eternity to be born. The good news is that the promise always comes. The church mothers used to say it this way: "He may not come when you want Him to, but He's always on time."
Be encouraged. The promise that you are carrying on the inside of you is alive and growing. Soon you will see it come to pass. The Scripture says, "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19). Philippians 1:6 NKJV declares, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Perhaps there is a promise that is alive and well deep in the recesses of your spirit. It may be that you have been praying for the salvation of your family or the birth of a ministry or a business. Whatever you are carrying, hold on to your promise until it becomes a reality in your life. The Father has already pre-established your victory, and Jesus has paid the price for its delivery. Your day of delivery is just about here. Soon you will find yourself in the labor room of faith. Get ready! It's almost time to PUSH!
